SceneMax VLC Trial Version open source video player program utility software

The trial version of SceneMax VLC is time limited and gives you full functionality for a 30 day period. After the evaluation period is over you may upgrade your license to the full version. There are no adverts in the video player program.

SceneMax VLC is compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 (both 32-bit and 64-bit versions). It works with VLC Media Player version 3. This is the free, open source multimedia player by VideoLAN. VLC has the advantage that its compatible with older computers running Windows XP and Vista, and you may also run SceneMax VLC on these OS versions. You will need the Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.0 or later installed on your computer to run the program.

To install the software download and run the Windows Installer .msi file by clicking the button below.


When you run SceneMax VLC for the first time you will be prompted if you want to configure it as the full or trial version. Select "Configure as a trial" as shown in the screenshot below. You will be asked to provide your name, address and email address for registration. NOTE: You will be sent a verification email and you must click the link it contains to verify your email address. If an "Error 809" box appears it is because your email address is not yet verified..
